Windows Install

1. Download the Agent by clicking the blue Windows image above. Once the download completes, double click the file to install the agent.
2. Click "Yes" to allow installation.  After you click yes, the installation runs quickly and disappears.
3. Congrats! You've successfully installed the Agent applications.
4. Scroll to the "Dashboard" section at the bottom of this page for next steps.

MacOS Install

Use Spotlight Search to open the Terminal App. To do this, use the keyboard shortcut 'Command + Spacebar'. You should see the spotlight search field display in the middle of your screen
(as pictured below).

You should see the Terminal application under Top Hit at the top of your results. Double-click it (or press enter) and Terminal will open.

The Terminal Window will open.  Copy and paste the green text below into your terminal app and press enter:

You will be prompted to enter your password. Type your password and hit "Enter"

NOTE:  You won't see any characters while typing your password so you have to trust yourself while you type. If you enter your password incorrectly, you will get a message that says "Sorry, try again." Just type your password again and click enter (as pictured below).

Once your password is entered and you hit "Enter", you will see the following text appear in the terminal window that completes with a message that the install was successful.  Congratulations, you've installed the agent!

Congratulations! You've successfully installed the agent applications (AteraAgent and Splashtop Streamer).

Dashboard

• Once you've installed the agent, Click "Dashboard" at the top of this webpage to view your personal dashboard webpage.
• NOTE:  If you click "Dashboard" and you still see the downloads page, wait a minute or two and try again as your personal page is still being created.
• Your personal dashboard page will only show your name and email address at first. This is expected. The agent takes time (up to 24 hours) to sync your device settings to your personal dashboard.
  
  Make sure to login the day after you install the agent to view your device details. Your Dashboard shows your device details and will be updated every day with current status. Feel free to sign in any time to see the current status of your device!
