Your right to privacy is a serious one!
We recognize that your data is your data; not ours. This privacy policy outlines what types of data we collect, why we collect it and the rights you have for your data. We promise to never sell your data - it isn't ours to sell, nor is it ethical (in our humble opinion).
IDENTITY DATA & ACCESS
During sign up for Quiver's services, we ask for identifying information such as name and email address so we can identify your account, know how to contact your with updates or other information, and accurately provide your systems data to your profile at quiver.cloud. ALWAYS REMEMBER: Do not share your username or password with anyone, for our services or any other you may subscribe to.
BILLING INFORMATION
During sign up for Quiver's services, we ask for your credit card and billing address. This allows us to charge for the services rendered, calculate any taxes due, and send invoices when appropriate. Your credit card information is encrypted and passed directly to our payment processor and never goes through any of our systems. We save a record of the transaction, the last 4 digits of the credit card, and the billing address for account and billing history.
SYSTEM DATA
System data is our product. We collect system data via the Quiver agent installed on your machine to help us monitor health information relating to your system and ensure updates are installed regularly. These data points include, but may not be limited to; hardware specifications, installed software and version info, disk space used, file names (we can't open or access any data within your files), network and firewall security settings, system meta data such as reboot or update dates and times, user activity, system service status, registry settings and the ability to run health scripts or auto healing scripts on your computer.
INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT
We do not collect any personal characteristics such as gender, age, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, physical or mental abilities or disabilities, or any biometric data. We do not collect any user data or files from your machine.
SYSTEM ACCESS
All remote sessions and monitoring are protected with TLS and 256-bit AES encryption. User IDs and passwords are encrypted in-flight and at rest. All connections, file transfers, and management events are logged.
YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR INFORMATION
Quiver recognizes and respects our customers rights according to applicable laws, specifically the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) governing your data. You have the right to know (1) what information is collected, shared, or sold (2) you have a right to access the personal information collected and to obtain information about how that data is shared, stored, kept secure and processed (3) you have the right to ensure your personal data remains accurate and request a correction if/as needed (4) you have the right to request that your personal information be removed from our systems - this request may result in the closing of your account (5) you have the right to make a complaint regarding our handling of your information with the appropriate authority (6) you have the right to object to how your information is processed (7) you have the right to object to and prevent any action that could have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you from being made as a result of any automated processes. This right may be limited by the performance of a contract between you and the Company, based on applicable law or your explicit consent and (8) The right to non-discrimination meaning you will not be charged a different amount, offered different discounts or be provided a lessor level of service due to exercising the rights surrounding your data. Please keep in mind that exercising some of these rights may prevent you from using our services.
